Aprokounilag: If you haven't eaten here before, you are not an Akokite in terms of Food

TOP 7 EATERIES IN UNILAG

One of the things you will find in Unilag that contributes to the beauty of the school is the availability of GREAT and REPUTABLE Eateries. However, these are the 7 best eateries in the school according to Aproko Unilag Research. If you haven’t eaten in these eateries, you are not yet a Bonafide Student of Unilag in terms of Food ……

  1. SHOP 10: Real Name: Glamos Rarebits): Shop 10 is a household name in the University of Lagos, that is famous for its Jollof Rice which is arguably the best in the school. I bet not many students know the real name of this legendary food place. Eating here is a pride to every Akokites, Shey I lie?

  1. Mavise: This is a place that has been considered to be Shop 10’s number one rival. Mavise is quite conducive but can be hell when the place becomes crowded with queues of students waiting to be served. It also has the advantage of paying with your ATM card after eating. You won't want to miss a day without going there.

  1. Blessed: Also one of the best Eateries in Unilag. Blessed is a household name that is on the lips of every student when the worms inside their stomachs start asking for food. An average Unilag Student will always want to eat in Blessed when Mavise is filled. I don't know why they still choose Mavise over Blessed..

  1. Salado: Like it sounds, Salado is all about making great and fresh salads, but it comes funny when you get there and see students finding a way to combine their salads with anything they were eating, from rice to chips even to beans. OMG

  1. Ewa-Agoyin Palace: Eating Ewa-Agoyin in Unilag can’t be compared to any place in the whole of Lagos. When you go to Ewa-Agoyin palace in Unilag, you will not want to eat your mum’s own again. In fact, many thought she was adding a bit of jazz to the mix, so sweet! Sweet!! Sweet!!!

  1. Iya Moria: Hmmmm!!! Iya Moria food can make you forget cooking in hostels or even in your house. Everyone who stays in those areas including students who go to DLI for lectures always look forward to eat from her delicious food.

  1. Olaiya: Started its Unilag branch in 2015, Olaiya had created a niche for itself by providing the students with their fire Amala and Gbegiri. If you haven’t tasted their product, do you really deserve to be called an Akokite?

  1. Korede’s Spaghetti: A spaghetti more than Spaghetti. Having a girlfriend in Unilag is cute though, but when you have one who visits Korede Spaghetti every day, hmmm… let me keep my mouth shut. He who has eaten Korede Spag will know that he deserves a place on this list.
