Welcome back ........

Batigoo: It's my dad's actually. When I was born they started calling him batigoo because my name is basit. Then I also took it from him.

Aprokounilag: Where do you come from (state and town of Origin)?
Batigoo: I'm a lagosian by birth and by origin. I'm from baado in epe.

Aprokounilag: Tell us about your educational background (primary school(s)), secondary school(s) and others)
Batigoo: So as a kid I attended Victoria memorial school in surulere, then I went to Langford international school for my junior secondary school, then I proceeded to the prestigious Kings College Lagos for my senior secondary school.

Aprokounilag: How will you describe your life as a Unilag Student?
Batigoo: My life as a unilag student has always been simple and it has been centered around sport, academics and a little bit of social life.

Aprokounilag: Many students don't know you right until you became a Celebrity and not just a Celebrity but the Ulssa President within few months. How do you feel about your new status now?
Batigoo: Yeah maybe the new students who just entered, but most people call me the jersey man, cuz my name is always on my back either man city, pSG, arsenal, Barcelona, real Madrid amongst others. But I'm not just the always around person and I'm also a shy type who doesn't like a gathering of people. I'm just cool around my guys and a very few other people. And my status as the president, yeah sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and still tell myself you're the president. It doesn't really freak me. I'm still my normal self nothing has changed.

Aprokounilag: What are the major difficulties you've encountered so far as a Unilag Student?
Batigoo: I encountered difficulties in my early days as an undergraduate, I didn't get the balance between my academics and my other lifestyles up until 300level before it clicked for me and for me those were my difficult years.

Aprokounilag: What are your major Successes you've achieved so far as a Unilag Student?
Batigoo: Success,  I can't count them yet but come back sometimes in June next year then we can start the counting

Aprokounilag: Hmm.... Deep
Aprokounilag: Can you please list the first 3 major things you will do when you resume office?
Batigoo: Hmmmm, as part of our promises to ulssaites our major aim is the OPERATION A SAFER ULSSA. The student have clamored for that and I will try my best to give them that. Then the others will just compliment eachother.

Aprokounilag: What is this all about sir?
Batigoo:
Students complain that they are being robbed in dark places in the faculty, bags stolen during exams and overnight reading and all. So our plan is to replace the faulty cameras in the faculty and also light the dark places.

Aprokounilag
What department are you sir? Most people don't know
And also, among your departmental lecturers, whose life inspires you the most?
Batigoo: I'm from the department of Geosciences
Batigoo: My lecturers they all inspire me, because they've all been father figures to me from my course adviser Dr Ishola, my staff adviser Dr Adeoti, Dr Oloruntola, Dr Akinmosin, Dr Ojekunle, Dr Opatola, Dr Omeru, Professor Olobaniyi, Professor Oyedele, Dr Ehitua, Dr Bankole, Dr Mrs. Adeogun, Mr Alll. They are never tired of seeing my face.

Aprokounilag: Even a mother will love one child more than the other.
I know very well that you have your favourite among them. Who is that?
Batigoo: Hmmmm, that's a daunting task. I will pick my course adviser.

Aprokounilag: Dr. Ishola right?
Batigoo: Yeah

Aprokounilag: What are your hobbies, what do you love doing best?
Batigoo: Playing games, football, reading books and most importantly interpreting seismic data
