Hello Everyone, Aprokounilag is here again
First of all, Happy New Year 💃💃💃💃💃
The EXERCISE to get a BedSpace is here again and students are over anxious to get it to the post of a BONAFIDE at all cost.
Anyways, the zeal got into a student and she prayed the popular "I receive" prayers often prayed by prayer addicts because of tomorrow's balloting.
Better say your own now 😜😜😜😜

Now that we are done with the general guidelines, we'd like to walk you through the specialised guidelines.
*SPECIALISED GUIDELINES*
When it comes to hostel balloting, the most important factors to be considered are your:
1. *Internet Speed*
2. *Device Speed*
Internet Speed: This is very very important because when we ballot there are over 15,000 people balloting at the same time and just like an Olympic race, its the person whose head can cross the finish line first that wins not the person closest, does that mean that those who have the fastest internet speed are the ones who get space?....the answer is No, its not. Its just that internet speed is a GREAT advantage for you, so what does all this mean, if you know you're internet speed is not fast then my brother my sister, go to cyber café and not just any cyber café but a cyber café that uses a 4g internet connection, simply put if you are not using a "good 4g" network then find one for you to use and ballot.
Device Speed: You're device speed is also a huge factor in your balloting success, you don't want to have your phone or laptop hanging because the device is not good enough. For balloting, it is recommended you use a laptop or computer system (or better still, laptop, phone and tablet at the same time), but if in case you don't have access to this make sure you use a good phone and what does good phone mean in this context, it means a phone that has a RAM of 2gb upwards and a phone that the internal memory is not full, as this can also hinder the speed of the device.
So what if i don't have a good phone and i don't have a laptop,
Once again the answer is...go to a "good cyber café" emphasis on the word, good because not all are good, you'll want to go to one where the internet service is superb and the computers are not ancient.
So what if i don't have a good cyber café around me?
My brother, my sister, leave your locality and find a good place maybe like in Ikeja where you can do that. Its definitely worth spending some extra money doing all that compared to all the discomfort you'll experience money you have to spend as a result of not getting bed space when the session begins.
*GUIDELINES FOR THE BALLOTING PROCESS*
1. Open minimum 10 and max 20 tabs on your device
2. Refresh the pages as much as possible, infact every time, because as one tab might go through the stage one of balloting the other might too and so you have to be simultaneously refreshing all your tabs, in summary, treat every tab like you're balloting for a new person, dont say if I'm using this tab, it'll interrupt tab 2...N.O.😒, that's not how balloting works.
*BEST BROWSERS FOR BALLOTING*
On laptop:
GOOGLE CHROME BROWSER
On Smartphone:
Puffin Browser,
Google Chrome too can be used for smartphone
*CONCLUSION*
DO NOT KEEP TO YOURSELF DURING BALLOTING, a big mistake students make is to keep to themselves and not interact with anyone during balloting, this is VERY WRONG 😞 because, during balloting some people get hostel before others and would share on their platforms (WhatsApp personal chats, WhatsApp Group chats, and ask if they can help anyone with their balloting and its only those online at that time that they can help, so if ure not online and interacting with anyone, no one can help you so what we're trying to say is:
1. Stay online at all times during balloting
2. Ask others to help you i.e give people your username and password including family and friends in Nigeria and abroad
3. If you've gotten, offer to help others.
Also, start balloting as early as possible (ideally from 7am) and ballot till you get a space, you can even be balloting till evening sef, the point here is balloting is all about perseverance, and if you're at a café, do not buy 15 minutes time slot or 1 hour, you don't know how long you'll be there, so its better to buy from 2 hours upward because you can spend up to 4 hours just balloting.
And finally and very importantly, don't forget to PRAY, and ask God for Favour and be specific in your prayer don't pray "Father let my balloting work," nopee, say "God grant me a bed space in Hostel xxx, wing xxx and top bunk or down bunk, (anyone you like😏)". Our God is a God of specifics.(Mark 10:51)
We pray that God would grant you success in tomorrow's balloting exercise In Jesus Name
