A blow on ULSSA as the Welfare Secretary-Elect resigned today due to a petition written against her.
The petition levelled against her was that she has gone to another higher institution before coming to UNILAG, which is an offence that allegedly attracts a penalty of TWO SEMESTERS EXPULSION.
She won in the just concluded election with a wide range difference of 524 to 297 votes.

*I really want to thank all ULSSAites that supported me from the beginning of the just concluded election to its end. I am sincerely grateful.*
*It is however sad and painful that I am stepping down, as I had to resign thanks to a petition written against me, after the deserved victory.*
_Now the deed is done, I remain an Ulssaite and will serve Ulssa in that regard as in every ways I can._
*I wish the new welfare SECRETARY the very best.*
_I remain an *ULSSAite* concerned about our common *welfarism*_
*OLEMOH YEMISI*
*(LEMONS)*
*THANKS❤*
SIGHS........
So by default now, MISS MOSES AMARACHI is the new ULSSA WELFARE SECRETARY
Hmm... What do you think about this? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
This is very disheartening. One should not lose his/her mandate because he/she has matriculated in another institution before coming to Unilag. I am appealing to the DSA to review this part of the electoral guideline before subsequent elections
